Delete your Nappy Hero account

You can delete your account whenever you like. Here's how, and what happens to your information.

Delete it in the app

1. Open the Nappy Hero app and tap Me.
2. Tap Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away, and you are signed out on every device.

Delete account appears once you have signed in with Google or Apple. If you use the app without signing in, email us (see below) with your nickname or Hero number and we'll delete your contributor ID and nickname for you.

What is deleted

• Your account and its sign-in identities (Google or Apple)
• All your sign-in sessions, so you are signed out on every device
• The email address you signed in with
• Your contributor ID and nickname

What is revoked

If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the Apple sign-in grant, so Nappy Hero no longer has access through your Apple Account. If Apple can't be reached at that moment, we retry automatically.

What stays

• Spots you added stay on the map for other parents, unlinked from you and no longer shown with your name.
• Your ratings stay, but only as anonymous fingerprints that can't be traced back to you.

No longer have the app?

Email us at [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account". Please include:

• whether you signed in with Google or Apple
• the email address you signed in with (if you chose Hide My Email with Apple, it ends in privaterelay.appleid.com and is shown in your Apple Account settings)
• your nickname or Hero number, if you know it

If you can, write from the email address you signed in with: it helps us check that the account is yours. We'll reply once it's deleted, within one month at the latest. We will never ask for your password.
